Are the z2's overkill? I just want a tire that will match the performance of the stock bridgestones. I just dont want to pay 230 dollars/tire for mediocre tires...

First of all its droids not drones.

Secondly the difference in width is fairly small amounts in the tread width. It will actually look and perform better because you have more usable tread.

Do you daily your car? If you do you may want to consider a different tire than either of these because you will wear through them pretty quick but if you don't daily or don't drive very far you will be fine.

Yeah good shot of the front RE50 for comparison. As mentioned they are more like 205 and the Z1 look about 10mm fatter then normal 215 on top of that, so quite a difference making the brand change.

Missed all this... No the car is a ww. Looking at those pictures the width difference is pretty dramatic! Ill have to wait and see how they perform.
