I purchase my tires from The Tire Rack.

Likewise, I usually buy tires from Tire Rack and then bring them to Russ and Marek http://www.ftlperformance.com/ for mounting.

I haven't bought tires from anybody else in about 7 years. Good service and decent prices.

I vouch for tirerack also. If you want to go local stick with Discount Tire Direct.

best way is getting the prices at tirerack, find the one you liked and go to discount tire and have them beat it. Sometime, after installation and road hazard warranty, you only pay a little more...

if it turns out too much, just order them at tirerack and take the tires to your buddy's shop.

I've used FTL Performance the last several times for some factory 16" and 17" wheels.
