Default Is there such a thing as a "good " bodyshop

Well believe it or not I still haven't gotten my Element back, you'd think I was in a major accident. I have yet to bring a car to a "reputable" body shop and not have to return it at least twice. I can honestly tell you, dont take your car to Centers 3 in Lynnwood, they've had my E now for a little over two months and just today said they had to order two motor mounts. The only reason I even found that out, is because I called them, since I haven't heard anything in 2 weeks. I've taken it back twice now for the same noise and I'll bet that after I get it back again, I will have to take it to the definition of reputible, Tony at Main Street Auto in Monroe. Their body work turned out great but as far as the mechanical issue subpar. I know they sent it to Lynnwood Acura to have the mechanical side of it repaired, but it's Center 3's name that is on that building.

I hope to hell I never have to find another body shop, but if I do where is a "reputable" (I use that loosely) place in the greater Snohomish county area ?

You probably need to step outside of Snohomish county.

last night I looked up Best of Western Washington "Best auto body shop" and 2 of the top 5 were in Snohomish county. Absolute auto on Everett mall way was #1 and Aldercrest in Lynnwood was #5.

Queen City Auto rebuild in Redmond is the best. They have done my exige, range and S2000. They color match and make everything better than new. Barrier audo/porsche uses them as their autobody of choice. Mostly do all the exotics of the PNW. Their attention to detail is better to none. Read their reviews on the internet. they are also expertise in fiberglass repair.

Do NOT take your car to Absolute Autobody. Lynnwood or the Everett location. I took my S2k there for a rear bumper replacement/paint and it was the worst experience I've had with any business as a customer. First, they did a poor paint job. Second, they dented my quarter panel and then gave me some BS run around. I ended up going back multiple times, and they never fixed the damage. Just wasted my time - which really pissed me. Worst experience. The owner is shady. Buyer beware!

Interestingly, one of the only body shops I've ever received good service from was the cheapest place. It was A+ Autobody in North Seattle. I'm not recommending this body shop (I haven't been there in years), but just telling you that the "best" or most expensive place is not always the best.
