So, I've got this nice car (just in time for the rainy season ) and I like to drive the remote twisties, mellow like. I know I'm not the only one. I've got a question... If I'm willing to scope the roads, locate a hotel or two and keep the thing generally organized... Is anyone interested in a weekend get together and cruise? A day trip?

I'm thinking early next summer on a non-holiday weekend. I've got some good ones within a couple hundred miles of both Portland and Seattle and I've got some good ones a little beyond that, too.

If there's any interest, let me know what works for you. I mean how far from home (and where home is), what type of scenery, any extra activities like swimming or hiking... you know, the good stuff. I'll start brain-stemming to come up with a tentative plan.

If there's not... well at least I tried.

There's always an interest for a summer drive.

Yes, some of the drives are planned and unplanned. WRS2K and I tried a few planned drives last summer.

You might be interested in helping with the annual "Crazy Drive". I don't know who is going to head that project but I am sure you could step into that role.

There are some past threads on the Pac NW forum with some pics if you want to take a look. It's fun stuff!

Now that I know what its called (and have done a sane search for it) I can say... that's exactly what I have in mind.

Thanks!
