I don't think I can join you on the upcoming drive as my car is STILL not working. To this end, I am posting the following message for future s2000 owners in the Vancouver area on this forum to read and choose a dealership wisely so that they too can be free to choose when they can accompany other s2000's in the Vancouver-area drive.
"This is a message to all you potential s2000 buyers out there in the Vancouver area. If you were thinking of buying your car at Carter Honda - please seriously re-consider. Without going into everything in great detail, I'll tell you why.
The folks down at Carter Honda and Carter HondaShop (service department) don't know what they are doing when it comes to fixing the s2000 - and if yours ever has problems, you'll encounter the same level of frustration that I am going through.
My car has not been working for six weeks now - each time it has come back from the dealership 'fixed' when it is not! I have spoken with everyone from managers, assistant managers, mechanics, and service advisors in order for the car to get sorted out and it simply isn't being fixed.
I will be calling Honda Canada tomorrow (as they are closed at 4:30) to lodge a formal complaint. From what I have read on these forums previously, this type of 'service' is nothing new to Carter.
I have suggested that they re-consider the statement on their web site which is:
