Here's a video I pieced together from footage shot at three events at SIR, before it changed back to Pacific Raceways and added "the Kink". It uses six or seven different camera angles from five different vantage points. Thanks to Ken, Adrian and Beth for the camera work.

Here's the track map with the old configuration:
Here's a lap from the open lapping day that GMan, RT and I went to recently:

Here's the track map showing the new configuration with "the Kink" added, so you don't have to drive on the slippery-when-wet drag strip launch area:
I ran a 1:46.90 on this lap, which is about a second and a half slower than my best time of the day. In the full resolution video you can see the speedo hit 129mph in Turn 1, 94mph before braking for Turn 3A, and 98mph on the back straight before braking for 5A. I do the "traditional line" on entry to 3A, over to track left. GMan was using a different line that has you braking for 3A in track center.
Here's the extended uncensored director's hidden deleted outtake blooper supplemental video:

Let me know what you think, but no comments on QuickTime or other video formats, please.

Ken,
thanks again for the SIR footage; you got some great shots! Too bad it's so hard to get near 2, 3A and 3B; those are the only parts of the course couldn't show.
Hey, I was fair, I showed all the cars that passed me, too (15-0). Several of those cars could have been passing me if they were driving them at all hard, and it's understandable why they weren't (e.g. Ferrari 550 Marinello). I wouldn't want to risk crumpling that baby.
