I'm going to venture a guess that you are at least a little bit more intelligent than the average person that goes out and steals seats.

I can remove your seat locks, without the key, in the same amount of time it takes to remove standard bolts. Advertising you have seat locks would do nothing other than remind a thief casing your car to bring the right tools.

Seats locks provide no real security from car prowlers. They just help you think you are more secure.
so the locks are really just bolts??

The locks are security bolts.

Seat locks can do a good job of preventing "theft", however, vandalism is a different story. A friend of mine had recaro seats in this integra with seat locks, but thieves broke into the car and stole stereo/gauges AND then decided to slash the seats beyond repair.

i'd much rather have a car with no seats than no car and a murder charge.

LMAO. that was funny looking.

Nice link. My guess is that car prowls would diminish slightly if that security system was on the market.

I heard this is a common problem. Do you guys hear of this happening to people with hardtops?
