My neighborhood isn't shady at all actually, and the car was parked behind my wife's civic sedan in the parking space next to our small appartment (8 units) off the street. There are several security lights etc.

This was in the Wallingford area.

I'm supposed to call the police again tomorrow, "or the next day" to file a report. Horray for efficiency. The criminals were busy this weekend it appears.

Mine was in the drive way with two other cars and my bike. It not in the garage because I have a garage but Im a few mins south of Seattle.

No one else was messed with not even the boxter next door.

I did call the police and they made me file a report online.....

Going to call the insurence tomorrow. The leather is a bit damaged from all the rain too.

Also the neighborhood is a high income area and we have never had any issues here.

Well its obvious how easy it is for thieves to steal these seats and make money. I just found it hard to believe the fact that its happening in our side of town. I know the Florida members are getting their seats stolen on a regular basis from some of the threads I've read, but I never thought this kind of shameless act would start happening to our local members here. Sure, I've heard about Honda Civics, Acura Integras, and "jdm" cars getting stolen from my friends but I would have never guessed two incidents of stolen s2k seats within a week.

And I do realize that this world has individuals who lack the respect and kindness for other people, however, I also believe that there are plenty of people who have respect for other people and their property as well.

1) Seattle is a very high theft area.

2) Seat theft has been common since the get go, and even more common once the Civic ricers found out they can use them easily.

3) You're delusional. Even if 99% of people are respectful, that still means 1% are out there fuvking things up. The guys cutting your tops for a quick pay day are in that 1%.

Have a nice day!
