seats gone.....again!
Woke up this morning to find my seats gone and driver's side top slashed. Didn't hear any alarm go off overnight....It has happened to me before 3 years ago when I was in NYC so I am kind of numb to the situation...Geico had replaced the seats with used ones (but with new leather so seats are in excellent shape) last time so little do the thieves know that they just stole old seats. The body shop that repaired my car in NY the first time said they would bolt the seats down--I guess not good enough.....
This theft occurred in the Magnolia neighborhood near downtown Seattle. It is more inconvenience than anything else since now I have to rent a car to get to work. I am guessing Geico will total the car, which is too bad cause there is still some summer left.

Yes, Magnolia is one of the safest areas in Seattle. If Geico totals your car, you should be able to buy it back at much less than the amount they paid you for it. Perhaps you can make enough on the transaction to pay for replacement seats. I have done the same in the past. Good luck.
