S2K as daily drivers?

Katherine, I started thinking about it more and since I wouldn't be in the market to buy a true all season or rain tire (unless you're talking about a rain RACE tire!) I'm probably not the best to ask. Personally, I think the Bridgestone's that come on the 2004 cars are *too* all season for me already - if you're careful with your right foot they should be plenty good.
A couple of suggestions - determine what your #1 priority is in a tire (wet, snow, dry handling, life expectancy, price), and go to either the Tire & Wheel forum or check out www.tirerack.com - they've got reviews & ratings on many tires...
Sorry I couldn't help more!

I'm still confounded over this implied perception that the stock tires are deficient for wet weather performance. No matter what tire you buy, a car (any car) will not preform at the same level in the wet. Just drive slower when there is water on the surface people.

I just picked up my 2003 S2000 two days ago and it will be my daily driver. I have been told by friends that I should invest in a hardtop but I am not sure about it. If I do decide to buy one, it will be for next winter. So far I love driving this car. Much better than my RSX Type-S.

Hardtop? The only reason I would consider one is if you need it for security. Doesn't get cold enough to need a hardtop around here. But, then again, I drive w/ the top down all year round...

i find it funny whenever people call things for this car an "investment." A hardtop is not an investment. This car is not an investment unless you don't drive it at all for the next 20 years. If you think it is, then you need to start reading this book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad. You be the future poor son.
And ktun, congrats on picking up the car. I'm Ted's cousin and I met you at the RSX dyno day back when you had the automatic RSX. Then I hear you traded it in for a manual RSX-S. And then sold that sucker for this one. Pick up the book called RichDad Poor Dad for a quickie lesson on what not to do with your hard earned $$$. Don't rice this car up, pls!
Good job on picking up the F20C. Screw the watered-down F22C and chassis. I'd rather have a Boxster then.
