Default Removal of Snap Ring (Clutch Delay Valve)

Hey PNW,

Has anyone done this procedure on their car, https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/275...-cylinder-mod/. Took off the Clutch slave cylinder, then I removed the boot and now I am having trouble with the snap ring. I bought a pick tool that looks like Billmans tool but I'm still having trouble removing the snap ring. Any helpful advice or tips would help so much.

Yeah spend $20 on a ap1 replacement and do a simple swap.

Hell I got a good used one in a box I couldn't bare to throw away I will give you if you come out to Bostons.

Lol, well find me a ap1 clutch slave cylinder for $20.00 and that would totally fix my problem. They are around $80.00 shipped from Majestic Honda, but the removal of ring is free

OMG! Freaking got the snap ring out!! But when I popped it out it flew out of the cylinder and landing somewhere in my down stairs work room. Spent 10 mins looking for it and luckily I found it lol. This is a Pain In The @ss. I recommend just doing what Junky stated earlier and buy an ap1 slave and swap it out.

1 Dust boot
2 Snap ring (Hella beat up)
3 Hyd block off plug
4 Delay valve screen and spring
5 Delay bleed off valve
6 Slave cylinder
