It's a late 90s Cherokee. I've read up on some good things about them. Easy to work on. Cheapish to maintain. Proven inline 6. Gas mileage about 16-19mpg. I'm loving it thus far. Classic, timeless boxy shape.
I'm looking for someone in the Eastside who knows the ins and outs of working on these suckas.

For exhaust work, go to Muffler King in Scrotum Lake. I'd also recommend Olympic 4x4 up in Snohomish if you need major driveline work done. Bit out of the way, but they're big on both customer service and quality. I've had LOTS of work done up there.
I can probably come up with more, but that's all I can think of for now...

I have little to no need for exhaust work. Don't need any major driveline work at this point in time.
Right now i just want this sucker to be reliable and kept up ... i don't like eastside chrysler. they were going to charge me $79 to figure out why my rear wiper blade isn't working.
Honda of Bellevue covering it for me labor and parts.

i do know that glenn is the go-to guy and he may well be the go-to guy for the jeep as well, but his labor rates are going to be higher than your smaller shops and if it's a jeep shop, i'm hoping they have parts more readily avail v. waiting. i know that glenn would do some extras and cut down on the hours billed, but i don't want to take any time away from him charging legit since he has mouths to feed as well even if he was willing to go to that length for me.
i'm not too much of a free-loader; quid pro quo
so what's the confusion, ray?

"Jeep - 101" is pretty much a required class to graduate from Enumclaw High School..........Mr. Love should be well versed.
As I recall......he got all the way through "Jeep - 301" and "Jeep Philosophy" before he became the teachers aid in auto shop.........teaching "Jeep Theory" and "Practical Jeep Uses For Farming"..........

Sorry, but the mechanic I used to go to has since gotten out of the mechanic business and is now in sales for Randy's Ring & Pinion, so I had to default to Eastside Chrysler/Jeep for my recommendation.
Like I said, customer service isn't good, but quality of work was always good in my case.
