PCA has a skills day school at Bremerton this Saturday. I'm not sure whether or not they are sold out.

As for the price -- I would rather it was free, of course. But on the other hand, if the track doesn't make money then it gets sold to housing developers.

The price of the track days is pretty much directly related to the housing market.
What is the $$ on this?

Not that I will be there this time due to the Seahawks game but in the future...I need to get some driving in

$55. Includes lunch (a hamburger, usually).

There is one in February that I will probably go to. The 16th.

I thought about it but at those prices I will stick to racing. That's roughly the same cost as an entrance fee for a race weekend with the IRDC.

Too bad gas prices are so high, it's not longer cheaper to drive down to Portland for a track day!

The last few Proformance days I attended had many more flaggers than Don used to get by with. This may be an insurance rule, and may also be contributing to the increased cost.

Most people who race tend to find track days pretty boring anyway.
True that. I've done only a couple of track days since I started racing, one of which was the most recent Proformance day. It's hard to work on things at a track day like you can at a test day. That said, when no test days are available, a winter track day with Don is fine (especially if it's undersubscribed).

That's also correct, but many of us do enter multiple classes. For a typical Oregon Region SCCA weekend, I get 100 minutes of track time each day (half in SM; half in ITA); I'm completely wiped out after that.

I have only been to one Proformance day in the last many months (November), but they had flaggers at turn 2, turn 3a, turn 5 and (I think) turn 9. It's worth the extra money, AFAIC.

Just stumbled on to this thread, is this track day at Pacific being discussed still happening? Or has it already happened? And is the $150 coaching manditory for this event? I'm an experienced driver and don't need to include this.
