Default Proformance Lapping Day - 1/13

<Hello everyone, Happy New Year.

Please join us for the first driving event of the year with our all day lapping event this Sunday at Pacific Raceways. Please spread the word to your other experienced sport drivers and the weather looks great! Next lapping option mid-Feb. No Lotus rentals available until mid March.

Lapping fee $260.00 (price increase reflects increases in track, medical, insurance, staff, and turn workers) and Coaching $125.00 (for 50 minutes) as we all know you get more than your monies worth with our qualified professional coaches. Sign up early. We will be running 2 lapping groups with no more than 24 per group.

We will be UPDATING ALL drivers forms in February. For now your current drivers form is good for this event, so please let me know if you are interested ASAP. Please respond with first and last name. We have 12 coaching slots available to a first come first serve basis.

Call 253-630-5130 to update your new or expired credit card number VISA or MC only

Sorry no walk ons the day of the event. >

If the weather is dry I may go (which means there is a 90% chance I won't be there )

This won't be a good time for your first time at the track though - I think they are looking for "experienced" participants for this one...

Dang...I'd really like to start getting to the track this year. But i would definitely fall under the 'novice' category for track racing.

I'll just keep my eyes open for a novice day/training day or something.

PCA has a skills day school at Bremerton this Saturday. I'm not sure whether or not they are sold out.

As for the price -- I would rather it was free, of course. But on the other hand, if the track doesn't make money then it gets sold to housing developers.

The price of the track days is pretty much directly related to the housing market.

I am about to swap motors in my Miata; if we get it done in time, and the forecast as Sunday approaches is ok, I'll go. That's two large IFs.

I got same e-mail from them as well. It's too cold for me and if there is hint of rain total waste of $$$.

Can't ride along. Not allowed at Proformance, except for staff. You might possibly be able to talk Don or one of the instructors into giving you a ride for a few laps. If you try this, play up the fact that you are very interested in taking your own car out here sometime.

No cost to show up and watch, or to walk through the paddock and look at the cars and talk to the drivers.
