Thanks!

How come you didn't mention YOUR 10th place BS TROPHY at this year's Nationals? :)
Sorry to see it go Steve, if you still want an S2K to drive, my car is wide open to you.
If you do happen to part out anything, let me know.
Good luck w/ your sell, and I hope this won't delay you for next season.

Steve's 10th place finish at Nationals this year was in my car. We confused people all year with this.
A little commentary about my car vs. Steve's... mine has a lot more of the high dollar parts on it, but generally we both could turn the same times in either car.
For what its worth, a S2KI member from the Bay Area just parted out a car nearly identical to mine. The basic parts (JDM wheels, Gendron bar, and Penske double adjustable shocks) went for more than $4000 used. The cost of building a car that can perform at this level is not trivial.

IMO, the price is very good considering the parts.

I know Steve's S2000 is a lot faster than that Z4 he was pimping today
Oh well -- scratch one off of the list.
Regarding Andy's comment, without getting into specifics, let's just say that my car was also found to be as fast as a certain well-known S2000 when driven by that car's well-known driver at a pre-Nationals practice event in Peru, Indiana -- much to the frustration of said driver.

Yeah, boy, I have to admit I was disappointed by the Z4. It wasn't really a fair comparison -- the Z4 was box stock, including whatever alignment it had from the factory and run-flat tires -- but it wouldn't turn in to save its life.
Remember you're comparing the Z4 to the last car you autocrossed, intentionally or not. The Z4 is no S2000.
And the last comment I'll make about Steve's S2000... James Yom drove it at Nationals. He finished 16th. He was fast enough to finish in the top 5 with Steve's car, but he coned ALL 3 RUNS on the first day. So, that's 16th with a 2 second handicap. (And STILL ahead of the top finishing Z4!)

How many Z4's were "competively" campaigned at Nationals, besides Sipes? How did Sipe do anyway?
Steve, that Z4 must have sucked, because I actually posted a faster overall time then you (barely)
Any hints to what you are going to replace the S with?
