Focus busted a half-shaft.

Oh, and I got my first black flag. I was shifting pretty close to the apex of 9, and the instructors watching from the stands got scared. I talked it over with Don, and he said they are all nervous right now because they had an "incident" in 9 recently. So I started short-shifting a little earlier.

 

I was hoping to do 6th and 20th but my work schedule and other commitments don't permit. Funny I still haven't got a chance to meet up with Ted all these times (I was at PR the last 3 times but Ted wasn't).

Any chance any of you guys doing the Oct 4th?

 

I'm not going on the 20th. Still undecided about the 4th.

 

I like to keep that air of mystery about my personal appearances.

 

That was a really good day at the track. Very few incidents, plenty of track time, good point-bys, great weather.

It was great meeting Will(?) and Mark, and seeing Mike again.
