I think those are very clean looking rims and have the good offsets to back it up. I'm not a big Volk fan myself since they don't readily make rims that fit and the ones that do fit are butt ugly, plus it's a ricer's dream come true (theft concerns).
These Modulos are big 17s. No lip, just straight wide spokes to the edge. Whereas the CE28Ns are small 17s. You'll see what I mean.
With that said, the Modulos are not the lightest wheels out there, but for street use, you are good to go. Knowing that these are pretty much what the OEM is pushing out, that's a positive as well since it's tougher to question their quality.
Look good, drive safe is my recommendation for you, bro. Go for it! It'll look great on the light silver you got.
Hey, did you know that the son of Paldo drives a modded black one? Crazy as I've never seen it around.

The Modulo wheels are nice, but are they really that heavy? If they're, I would stay away. The 17" CE28n is around 14lbs. I ordered them in gunmetal grey which is a custom color. The turnaround was supposed to be 2-3 months, but I ordered mine in early November and still haven't got them yet. In my opinion, they are the best looking ones.

I obviously like the CE28n, as I have a set, but I think the Modulo 17s are very good looking, too. Since there are already several of us with the Volks around here, go with the Modulos if you want to be unique.

you'll laugh at these specs, here goes...
18x7.5 +48 18x8.5 +50
the rears are gonna kick my ass. i read somewhere that you can grind the inside of the wheels to increase offset, but doing so may degrade the structural integrity of the wheel. at the same time, you may not get total clearing of the caliplers if you grind the inside down... somewhere around 2mm is safe? i dunno, my buds at TSR are gonna call up carnuts and see if they've heard this as well...
these wheels *seem* to fit in all the pics ive seen... but ugly girls are photogenic too...
try the soon-dubu at the restaurant inside pal-do up in lynnwood... very yummy and has that clean taste... and msg free...
