New to the Seattle Area
Hey all,
I recently graduated and moved from the Atlanta, GA area to Bellevue (drove my S the whole way).
It's the first time I haven't been able to go to my parent's place to work on my car and wash it, so I'm hoping some members in the area might be able to recommend a good (read, trustworthy with an S) shop in the area, as well as some car wash facilities (pref self service type).
I'm also interested in getting involved with any community in the area - I'll keep my eyes on the forum for any meets that get posted up.
I know the S isn't a great DD around here, but I don't really have any other choice at the moment (eventually plan to buy another car for DD, turn the S into a nice day/track car, but that's a ways out), so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance all!

Let me be the first to say, welcome to the area! I hope Seattle is treating you well thus far. I was in Atlanta a few weeks ago for a business trip, boy is it humid over there...

Welecome! Watch for tech days for maintence stuff. Or you can always ask for help as several of us are usually willing to help out. As for shops I like stage auto in Kirkland. They have mounted tires and done alignments for me. Prices are good to. Check out some of the local meets and come out to say hi. Meeting people goes along way when asking for help.

Hey all,
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll try to make it out to taco tuesday this week.
Tech days would be awesome, but I need to get my oil changed and my brakes done asap, so I'll probably check out stage auto, thanks for the recommendation.
It is always humid in Georgia - I was born and raised there, so I'm used to it, but I love the climate out here. Everyone keeps saying I wont like it as much in the winter, so I guess we'll see.
Look forward to the opportunity to meet some of you in person.
