It's more the fact that there is one particular person selling *multiple* pairs of S2000 seats. I mean, how likely is it that he bought them all legitimately? Probably not very.
Well, yeah, that guy's a known crook from what I've gathered.

But flagging *every* S2000 seat sale is punishing people who legitimately own S2000s and want to sell their seats and/or people who bought a second hand seat and need to resell it.

hey kp_vtekniks

did you end up getting any updates from the police about your seats?
Not a thing. They took the info and said thanks.

That's why they need to give vin's or pictures in the car or meet in their car, like somebody said above. I don't think anyone is flagging legit posts just because they are selling seats.

So if the seats were stolen, then sold, then sold again, does that make them clean? It's not about just flagging posts. We need to make the process harder. Its so easy for a thief to find an s2k, cut the top, jack the seats, post on CL, profit. If we can limit the "post on cl and profit", then everything else will follow in line. The only way to make our seats "less desirable" to thieves, is limit the outlet for them which in most cases is CL. I know there are people who bought their seats legitimately from a junk yard or an s2k owner on CL, but if they have issues re-selling them, tough luck and they can thank the thieves for that.

I'm not the type of person to sit around and do nothing. I know realistically that the best we can do is a small dent in the process, but its better than sitting around doing nothing while someone jacks your shit.

Yeah, just use your best judgment, I mean when they state the incorrect year or have one or more sets available etc...

Shady as they come... do a search for the phone number and look at all the random car parts. No mention of year, or pics. Yep.
