Need Input: First Oil Change
I know the manual states oil changes at 3,750 miles for extreme conditions and 7,500 miles for normal conditions. Regarding my first oil change, should I wait until 7,500 miles to retain the "break in oil" due to it's qualities? Or should I change to dino oil at 3,750 miles?
Thanks for the input.

I changed mine at 1,000miles and every multiple of 3,000miles there after.
In retrospect, I would have changed mine at 3000miles. Since I used so much oil in the first 3000miles (1quart every 500miles), I doubt that you have any of the molybendium-laced breakin oil left in the crankcase to begin with. Around 10,000miles on the odo, my car stopped using oil altogether. Since 12k and the supercharger install, I haven't used a single drop.
I doubt any one on this board qualifies for "normal conditions" for that matter.

After reading the zillion posts about break-in oil, I changed mine at 4900 miles. I might have gone longer except I have a 3rd party extended warranty and it stipulates that the oil must be changed at least every 5,000 miles or I'm out of luck. Now that I'm out of the "break-in" period, I plan to change it every 3750. I've only had to add 1/2 quart in 6K miles.
