thats a hard one.. you cant get best of both worlds with that one. u can try to get some 235/40/18 in the rear but get federals cuz they run fatter. those tires look meaty.

Why don't you get some wheels with better offsets?

+45 is too low.

+45 is ok, you can still get a 9"/255 tire under that with reasonable camber. But I think we are looking at +22's here? 235's FTW? Neat

But I don't know, I'm

My rear wheels are +45 18x9.5 on 255 with -3 camber. Just had to cut the rear bumper tabs.

What"s the goal?

1. Just shove em' under the car to make them fit regardless of camber, rolloing fenders, or trimming fenders?

-or-

2. Fit the car, no trimming, no rolling, no rubbing?

Rob, my preferential goal once I discovered what was possible, was to stuff the widest rubber possible under the stock bodies S with a typical fender roll/cut/minor modification, which can be done in the back yard. 295's is what I was able to do.

Some folks prefer the "parking lot stance" which has little to do with performance. You have a big stereo in your car right? So you can kind of relate

On a separate note, its great to see you wanting to participate/post again. Nothing like a new turbo/ fast clean ride to perk the interest again. Look forward to seeing it when its done

I completely understand the W I D E Tire thing.......I too have a big A$$...when it comes to the S2000 rear rubber. My rear wheel size is a 10" +71 offset that was custom built by Work Wheels. I'm currently running a 285/30/18, which has exactly the same rolling diameter as the original OEM wheel / tire combo, which is why I chose that specific size......Oh, and I didn't have to trim, roll, or grind any part of the fender or OEM fender liner AND all with-out having to run all kinds of CRaZY-oFf-kiLteR-caMber to do it.

So for all you non-believers out there: It-Can-Be Done.....................correctly

Thanks again Chris
