Need feedback from homeowners about water conservation
First, thanks for taking the time to read!
I'm doing market research for a school project about rain water collection. I need to ask homeowners about their attitudes regarding rain water collection.
Any data collected is appreciated! I know some info may be sensitive and I understand if you omit responses.
Use this link to access the survey:

Thank you so much for your time! Your responses are valuable and appreciated.
Any other feedback about attitudes regarding rain water collection and conservation is appreciated too! And if you really don't give a hoot about it, I'd like to hear why, it's very valuable insight.

Demographic questions:
What city and state do you live in?
A: washington state
Do you own a home?
A: no, but in the process of purchasing
Age: 28
Sex: Male
Income range: 0-30k, 30k-60k, 60-100k, Above 100k:
A: 60-100K
Prompts:
How concerned are you with collecting rainwater for future use?
A: its not a daily concern of mine however, i do think of it from time to time. I could use it to water things in the yard etc from time to time.
Have you heard about rain water collection systems?
A: not really heard, but seen yes. We also have collection systems at work so ive seen the brochures and placards.
How interested are you in purchasing a rain water capture system for your home?
A: it depends on the price really. Also depends on if it can be purified at home and consumed or if its for things like washing the car.
Question: arent rain water collection systems just rain barrels with hoses on em? <-- thats just a general question and probably doesnt help your project. feel free to disregard that part.
If you own a rain water collector what things do you like about it? Dislike? What things would you change?
A: dont own
If you don't own a rain water collection system, how do you think one can benefit you?
A: mostly for watering gardens and such in the first few months of summer. 55G or water/collection drum would go quite some way. I would however be concerned about the material holding the water as i wouldnt want to water my garden with "metallic" water that was stored in a metal drum or plastic drums that could leach chemicals into my water.

I think if you were to leave out the income question you might get more responses.
Another idea might be using something like SurveyMonkey. I haven't used them myself but have considered it.
