I'm not sure how much they go for new, I would guess probably near $75K, just curious that's all. That one YOU ARE looking at is sick as hell though, kudos to you
the msrp on the new ones is: $81k. It is tough to find them under 95k with dealer mark-up. I dont' really like the new body style much either. I am kinda in love with the Gen2 vipers.

So it looks like I will be putting an offer down tomorrow. I am going to be trading in the car. I am going to take a hit of $3-$4k overall because of that, but it makes my wife more comfortable. We will see how it goes. One other guy was test drove it today (I saw him). But, he was offering 6-7k less then me, but I didn't put an official offer in...so they could sell it to him. That would piss me off!!

I will know early tomorrow morning. I will post what happens. Wish me luck!!

Bad news:

I really should not have made this post until I was sure I would be buying this car. But, sometimes I get real excited about crap before it's a done deal. Sorry for posting like a jack-ass. so long story short the wife and I talked for about 3 hours last night and 2 hours this morning and decided not to make an offer. The car was pretty much mine with the offer I was going to propose, but I decided that it just didn't make sense at this time. We bought a house about 9 months ago and have a bunch of projects around here to do and we are looking to take a nice big vaction so the viper didn't really fit at this point!! It is disappointing, but I feel like I probably made the right choice. That was a gorgeous car though...really amazing. Oh well...another day and other time.

Aren't you worried about denting the hood?

Hey at least you to spend some quality time behind the wheel of a Viper - which most people (even on here) will probably never get a chance to do.

Don't forget there's always the Powerball lottery - your number is sure to come up in a year or two - BAM! - problem solved!
