I propose a drifting contest between the Viper and the 930. :burnrubber:

And I concur with WRS2K - BBS 19"s would really enhance the already mean look of the Viper.

Particularly interested in how it goes around corners compared to the S2000. Do you know what the kerb weight of the Viper is?

So the viper is fast...I mean real fast!! What a blast to drive. It took a little getting used to. I think the cockpit is about as small if not smaller then the S2000. It drives well. It doesn't feel heavy and it doesn't act real heavy either. The nose is really wide and long and that takes some getting used to. Did I mention it is fast? The thing pulls like crazy when you stomp the loud pedal. It corners well. It has massive amounts of grip. The brakes and gas are close together (closer then the S2000), but I like that...makes it easy to heel toe once you get used to it.

The salesmen were kind of jackasses. They tried to double team me once I started heeing and hawing about buying it today!! Which was never going to happen. They started blabbing about how other people have called about it..etc etc. F_CK OFF!!! I aint buying it!! hahaha That car has been there a while.

So it has 2100 miles, it's a 2002, and it looks way more beautiful in person the in the pictures. I think i may be able to get it for $60-$63 which seems pretty reasonable for a low mileage 2002. It actually wasn't as low as I thought it was when driving it. You can get it in and out of driveways and over speed bumps without too much trouble. I think it would be somewhat livable to tell you the truth. It seems like a pretty simple auto. No complicated gizmos or whiz-banges....just the way I like it.

Update:
So my wife is getting a little worried about this whole thing. She wants me to get rid of the S2000 before I get the viper (or at the same time) because I still owe some money on the S2000. I personally wouldn't mind keeping the S2000 and selling it myself, but I think we are going to have to compromise...she is letting me by a viper with no drama...that's pretty good!!

The other caveat is I have a date with timberline dodge to have a pre-sale inspection done. They have the only certified viper tech in the state. He's a good guy. Timberline is a big VCA supporter and they always show up at PIR with the viper guys!

You guys should really start up a S2000 club and get a dealer you trust on-line. That would be really cool to see 30+ S2000's at PIR and other places.

So I have two things to work out. What to do with my S2000. And I have to make sure the car hasn't been wrecked (1/2 of all vipers have been in a major auto accident!! ) and nothing serious is wrong mechanically.

If I can work both of those issues out.....I guess I'm gonna get it!! hehe I can't wait.

you're getting '02 GTS, asking around $60K right? Did you think about the new Viper's? They're 500 everything; 500 horse, 500 torque, and it's a 500 cubic in. engine. I'm not sure how much they go for new, I would guess probably near $75K, just curious that's all. That one YOU ARE looking at is sick as hell though, kudos to you
