as far as I remember those cars have the same engine as the 360 ferrari
I don't think so the Maserati uses a 390hp 4.2L V8 vs 400hp 3.6L. I think the 430 engine was derived from the same ferrari motor in the maserati. 430 engine is way better then the maserati version of coarse.

I've seen a few Maserati's around and pretty disapointed in the styling. I never know til I'm really close if its a Maserati or Daewoo because of the tail lights.

Ferrari motors definately sound great though.

Yea, again, not into the looks. Maserati? Who flippin' cares. Where have they been in motorsports recently? What have they done?

They just don't make a good looking car. I've seen that four-door Maserati around. Sure it's getting some play on Entourage, but it still looks like some sort of sea creature.

But, yes, I was pleasantly surprised at the bass and the symphonic, trumpet-like baaaaaaaaaaaa. Loved it. Actually sounded better than the 360 and 430. Just very full and powerful.

The Maserati MC12 has been doing very well in the FIA GT series this year, racing against cars such as the 550 and 575 Maranello's, Corvette C5R, Saleen S7R, and Murcielago R-GT. Maserati teams are currently 1st and 2nd in the championship. The cars that run in this series are similar to those in ALMS GT1. The big difference is that manufacturer teams are not allowed to score points in FIA GT, so it's a true privateer series. You don't have one manufacturer team (Corvette Racing) dominate the privateers like you see in ALMS GT1. This means more participants - 15 teams in FIA GT1 class.

Wow, that's quite a statement.

Have heard a 360 at full song trying to race me on my Kawi zx7R, admitedly only when I shut down to get a look at it, best sound I've ever heard...

yea i'm kinda known to make some quite statements.

i'm not a fan of the 360 sound. it's just tinny and coarse. the f355 sounds a bit more tuned. the F430 on the other hand doesn't pretend to be anything but a big ass V8 and the sound of it is simply awesome. i think the new maserati i heard is very similar to the F430.

i really want to hear a carrera gt in person throttling it past me. for this i'd try to instigate a race should i ever come across one in the seattle metro.

as for bikes racing cars and vice versa... Zzzzz same anticipation as a cortez kennedy v. mike vick 100 yard dash.

what about the 360 CS exhaust note. I'd put that right behind the Carrera GT.

Well he does go to parties, some times until 4.
