Yeah, I think I gave up after 20 minutes. The only saving grace at that point was the girl. The car chase scene was a joke, and if I was a Ford exec, I'd be livid that a GT500 KR couldn't elude Ford Edge.

I didn't think it was that bad as far as pilots go (if that's what it is) but there were some big flaws that turned me off, the big one was the end scene when the SUV slams into the side of KITT and the car doesn't move an inch. I don't care what the chassis is made of or how bulletproof it may be, rubber is rubber and there's no way that this 167MPG vehicle weighs enough to hold its footing when that much weight at that speed slams into the side of it.

Maybe I'm just too picky. Kind of like the Terminator series and the fully exposed terminator head somehow makes it through to the future. Wasn't that a HUGE part of the story of terminator, that nothing non-organic could come through?

i was actually watching first show of terminator and that's when i changed the channel. i dunno what people are thinking when they are making these stupid shows. these show writers should go on strike for forever.

I don't know either. Most of the people I talked to that were into it (and so was I, I had high hopes for it) didn't even notice! How could you miss that one? They revolve a huge part of the plot around that stupid head that should have never been there in the first place.

The head couldn't have waited? Been buried in the rubble when the bank blew up and Iron Gianted itself back together again 8 years later because, oh I dunno, the head got struck by lightning and the 1.21 jiggawatts was just enough to power it up again to send a signal to its limbs.

Just stupid.

I'm still watching it becuase I have the hope that they won't do that again but they need to kill off that terminator quick and move past that mistake.

And how'd they go forward? I thought in the original movie Reese said there was no going back. Which, makes sense, they change the past, the future they came from no longer exists. So how did they go forward into a future that didn't exist before. Well, ok, Sarah and John could go forward because their future hadn't been determined, but the she-term couldn't because her timeline would have been changed.

Maybe too picky..

I don't think it's being too picky. Some of these flaws are glaring. The suspension of disbelief fails when the writers leave holes in the plot the size of Texas.
