I have NO trouble believing Jerry did 134 on the front straight.

I have NO trouble believing Jerry did 134 on the front straight. At the fastest I hit 128 and I backed off early on that lap and every other lap. No super-charger here. Also, I was taking a conservative line and accelerating out of turn 9 like a pussy because there is no margin for error if you get the rear end out of shape there. Even given that, I'm certain I could have crossed 130 on any lap I cared to. If that super-chager is doing anything Jerry should be able to hit 134. (Unless I've got the worlds fastest NA S2000)

Yeah, Jerry is a world class exagerator, but my money is on this one standing up. And I for one will cut him a little slack on the rest.

Micheal, you must have pretty fast car or there must be something wrong with my engine??? b/c, I was hitting the turn 9 apex at around 45-50mph and bury the paddle there all the way to turn 3, fastest I could hit was 117-118.

I never used second at PIR. I thought about it in a few places, but it never quite felt worth the two shifts.

Upon review of the tape, the judges determination is that it would not have been worthwhile (for me). When I got the line right and didn't have traffic holding me up I was able to turn in to all corners at 50-55+ mph without overcooking any of them (in other words, I wasn't going fast enough). If I could really do it right, I'd probably be right at 60 at turn-in, and never go below. In reality, I was at 45-50 a lot of the time at turn-in, and my 'neutral maintenance throttle' wasn't quite enough to keep me from dropping a few mph before the apex.

Shows me that I need a little more throttle during the first half of turns, and to slowly work my entry speeds up until I feel it getting too loose. I also need to work on rolling the throttle on earlier and faster, 'cause I never had any power oversteer. Bad memories of the rain spin in turn 9 in October...

The only times it got a little squirrely this time were when I entered 2 and 3 too fast (not sure what the speed was, didn't have the camera set up that session). I was able to catch it quickly with a little throttle and counter steer, because I was anticipating it.
