Default Jerry/RT/Tedster/Bert; I SAW YOU!!

Hey Guys;

My wife and I were leaving the Ballard Locks Sunday afternoon at appx. 4: 30 p.m. and I saw this VERY impressive group of S2000's approaching and it was "the guys" out for a run!! We had spent the afternoon with our daughters at the Locks celebrating Mothers Day and were just leaving. Lisa said "catch them"!! I was driving her Camry so not bloody likely.... We drove to Golden Gardens Park but you must have gone up the hill at the end.

Your cars looked awesome!!

Not 10 minutes later, I had a SC backet crack.

Jerry;

Sorry!! An altogether bad thing; is this the "newer" version or the older version bracket design??

Probably the "ancient" design, definitely an older one.

LOL, there is no "newer" design .... just a bunch of prototypes that proved worse so far.
Actually, the bracket JP broke does have one iteration passed it but I'm not sure if it's "better" or not since it still breaks, and when it does, you dump oil all over the place since the crack is forced to cross an oil passage unlike the original design (and/or you crack the head davepk style ).

It was a fun drive. Thanks to the "zero-notice drive" club members for turning out!

Everyone else, make sure a few of us wackos have your home/work/cell phone/pager number so you can join the "zero-notice drive" club.

We came across several S2000s; it was pretty funny to see their expressions. And remember, if you're ever on a drive, the answers are:

"No, we didn't plan this, it's pure coincidence that XX S2000s are all driving the same road at the same time!"

"No, we're not a club, we're a gang."

Bruce,

too bad you weren't in your S2000 - it would have been hilarious if you busted a U turn and fell in line!

Jerry,

are they gonna hook you up with a new bracket without major wrangling?
I don't seem to have your Hot Lap stuff; keep looking.

Ted
