Default interesting car

So I'm headed back to my car after watching a show at The Rep, and I see something parked in a parking garage. It was a car I hadn't seen before. It looked very much like an Elise, but it wasn't.

I never do this, but I decided to walk over and see what it was. About halfway to the car I guessed it, and I was correct. T E S L A on the back hatch.

Pretty nifty. Looks a lot cleaner than an Elise -- less busy without all the air scoops. You would never guess it's electric just by looking at it parked.

Elise was exactly my guess as well when I saw a dark red one on I-5 S by Boeing Field some time last week.

Probably the same car. This one was also dark red, and there can't be all that many of them in the area yet.

There's at least two. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics, the lighting was really bad.

If I'm dropping 100K on a car I'm paying the no front plate ticket.

Yeah, but my guess is that he probably likes people knowing what his car is (hence the personalized plates), just like all the Toyota Pious drivers.

I actually drove next to a Tesla on the way back from the dog park tonight. Quiet little bugger. I also thought it was an Elise at first glance. The one I saw was a light blue / silverish color

I saw a red one in Everett a couple weeks ago headed east over the US2 Trestle. It is a cool looking car.
