Default Installing springs please help

Hi guys. This is my 2nd s2k and I'm having problems getting the hole align on the bottom of the shock so I can put in the bolt on the bottom. Me and the wife are so stuck. I have installed the same set in my first s2k but I just can't do it on this one. I have read some other topics on install and so far not doing me any good. Please and advice would be great

Are you having trouble with the rear susp? Either use a jack to lift up the lower A arm or have your wife/ or friend push down on the lower A arm to align the hole. Here is a vid on how to install the rear susp. Hopefully this helps

you might need to disconnect the swaybar endlinks to make it easier to push up/down on the A-arm. otherwise like Draven said, use a jack to help you.

It is more likely that the suspension needs to e pushed down not up in this case if you took out the oem and and putting it back. I had to have someone push down on the rear with their foot to get it back in.

^^Yup. When manga and i installed my coils, I had to step/apply hella pressure on the passenger side while he aligned and tighten the bolt.

Ok I loosened the sway bar and luckily got the passenger rear strut in. Now I'm stuck on the driver side lol! It's so hard to align and I feel like the springs need to be compressed so it can clear the sway bar. It's drivin me crazy!

thats a choice too. you can install the compressors and try and take a little tension off the spring to get the assy to collapse a little.

So I finally got it on. Thanks for all the help. I put a big flat head between the lower bar and struts and had the arm jacked up a bit and as soon as I saw an opening for the whole I out a screwdriver in and adjust!
