65 - and getting younger every time I drive my S. And just in case you think I am an old driver who doesn't appreciate a "real" car - I placed 2nd in class for the 2010 SCCA autocross season. I LOVE my S and drive it with passion!

I've owned five cars, all Hondas. I still own two of them. At one point, for a while, I owned three of them. The total number of Honda ownership-years I've had is about 33.

And oh yeah, I'm younger than Ray.

I have been in Switzerland.

But more generally, I have been very busy at work (which is what took me to Switzerland).

I also had a relationship crash and burn because no matter how much she liked me, she decided she just couldn't date a non-Christian. Then she decided it was too painful even to be friends with me without dating, because actually she did like me a lot. That was really annoying and depressing, because not only did I want to date her, but I also really liked her as a friend. So now I get neither, and she gets neither. Intolerant religions suck.

Mostly I've been getting back into hiking and climbing a lot more, and just haven't been interested in driving stuff. (Partly that's because the above-mentioned Christian woman was a hiker.) I haven't been to the track in more than a year. I'll probably go back, but I guess I was getting burned out on it. I've been really enjoying remembering why I liked the mountains so much, even though a climber friend of mine was killed on Rainier this summer.

Didn't you break up with her like 1-2 years ago Mike? The S is a girlfriend that will never leave you, she's always there through the good times and bad, remember that

Yeah, we were trying to find some way to work things out on and off for more than a year now, but this summer was when it finally fell apart for good. Oh well.

The better things were going between us, the more it scared her because it made her think about choices she didn't want to allow for herself. I guess she'll go off and find some Christian dude, someone who fits her concept of how the world is supposed to work. (She was very big on things being as they "should" be, rather than dealing with them as they actually are.)

^^^ That's a tough lesson, one I've had a taste of myself. I've determined that I will never get involved with someone that is not open minded in this regard again. Someone who is in this case... obviously a devout Christian, will never see the world as you do. There is no mystery or self discovery in life, its a completely different mind set. They are wired totally different. Life needs to be safe and mapped out, even if the map doesn't make any logical sense. You don't need that kind of aggravation Mike, no sex is that good
