Ok, I am seriously curious you guys. I am 32 years old, but when I was 18-23 I was in the friggin' navy active duty for god sakes and all I could ever afford is a 1986 ford ranger 2wd that I bought for $2600. So how the hell do some of you early 20's guys afford a $15-20k sports car??? I mean jeesus, sometimes I see young kids 16-20 yo driving around in late model $30k Subaru STI's and stuff. Am I among the ranks of the underprivileged or what?

S2000s are available for relatively little now ($15k dragged out over 5 years is $300/mo) and a lot of young people have no qualms spending every penny they make on a car. Especially the ones who live with mom and dad (which is a great system, financially).
