Default Good eats - Seattle WA/ Vancouver

Hey everybody,

I am taking my parents to Seattle and Vancouver from Thursday- Wednesday (their Christmas Gift) and would like to know some nice family restaurants in the Seattle Area and Vancouver area that are not too expensive... Any recommendations?

hmmm... What kind of food? If you're in Vancouver pretty much any Chinese place in Richmond should be good.

If you're in Seattle - Sea Garden in Chinatown makes a really great fresh crab in black bean sauce. Chinese and seafood all at once.

Anthony's Home Port has been around for a while - if they want to eat early (5ish) the "early dinners" are inexpensive and good.

Salty's has a good Saturday/Sunday brunch. We like it a lot. TONS of fresh seafood.

i forgot to mention, if you like oysters, rodney's oyster bar in yaletown is one of my favs as well

and hmmmm cannery is also good

I would HIGHLY recommed Salty's (alki Beach, Seattle) for excellent seafood!

There's always the classics, too. Canlis, Rover's, etc.

Is it Vancouver, WA or Vancouver, BC that you want restaurant info on?
