The Zags are going to be able to attract good recruits, I expect. They have that sweet new arena and they have recent national level exposure among the current crop of HS students. Shouldn't be a problem.

The Dawgs, however, have about as good a chance as anybody for this year. They are returning the entire team from a team that made the NCAAs last year. You have to consider them the favorites in the Pac10 and a likely tournament team. They might have a matchup problem against a team that has two top-caliber big men, but almost anybody would have a matchup problem with a team like that. And everybody else is going to have a matchup problem against a team that plays three point guards at the same time.

I concur, they should make it to the sweet sixteen, and I hope they do. I don't however believe the " us against the world " bullshit rather, what made it so unique, was the size of the school competing with much larger schools. I never realized ( until the Huskie Hugger WRS2K informed me ) that the problem was that the school was located in Spokane (hooterville)

Hey, Zag fans... the us against the world thing is over. How the hell are you going to get recruits to deal with Spokane for 4-years? You had your ride, but it's done for a long, long time.

Go Huskies
Calm yourself young man......I can only assume that your heart rate started to increase while you were typing your flame.

Get off your soap box..this was just for fun

So.....it must be just the hoop players in which you refer? not even someone as narrow minded as yourself would include your football team in your last comment.
Obviously this is your alma ma-ter,and you should be proud, though nobody remembers you.
Is it possable that you have some Texas blood in ya?? They too get all puffed up with pride and they don't have anything to be proud of either.
Whats funny is even if......you single handily beat the Zags I'm going to switch and start talking up Illinois. It turns out, your a lot of fun.

What's at hand is bad news: Brandon Roy needs surgery and will be out for 4-6 weeks. That's gonna hurt the Huskies. At least he should be back for most of the Pac-10 season.
