finally an happy S2k owner
After lurking about and reading posts for almost a year I've now been an owner of a wonderful '00 Silver S2k for almost 24 hours! It's everything I'd hoped for and more, what a car! For those who say VTech isn't that noticeable I just sit here laughing...
Just wanted to say this message board is the second-best I've seen for any car during my year-long search and the adivce that's been freely given really helped me to buy a gem of a car.
Well, glad to be part of the family, I must say I plan on enjoying this car (as a weekend/pleasure driver) for many years to come.

Welcome, I want to tell you this is the nicest group of people you could ever know. They all have a passion for their cars and it shows. I too am sooooo glad I bought the S2K! Enjoy your new baby

I've bookmarked this page and will try to attend local events, although I'm going to be poor for the next few months.
My S2k is having the factory alarm repaired under warranty at Renton Honda, are they reputable? The PO had all his records from there (including a previous alarm fix) so I went to the guys thinking they know my car. Should I use another shop in the future?
I'm also storing my S2K in my garage in a week or two for the winter (uh oh.... duck!) to keep it pristine for the spring/summer/fall. This also gives me great insurance savings for the next few months being that I just turned 23 and get hosed by insurance...
Quick shout-out to Fred @ Frontline in Bellevue for the great deal and excellent service. To be honest I always thought they were hustlers but they really came through for me on this deal!
