If there is even a teeny bit of sense in our system, this guy will go to jail for a good while, and lose his license forever.
But I have no confidence that the outcome will be anything like what it should be.

There is little sense, money seems to take priority over whats right. Unfortunately whats going to determine the penalties this guys faces, is how much money this guy has to throw around.

Whoa. I live in a nice Bellevue suburb surrounded by strip malls, churches, and one fortress-like building surrounded by a heavy metal gate and lots of security cameras. It sticks out like a sore thumb, so my wife and I joke that that company must be a front for a drug ring. As it happens, it's owned by one "Global Fishing". Imagine that.

He's screwed. 3 reckless driving = habitiual traffic offender which is a min 7 year license suspension ( maybe 5 year) either way, he's screwed unless he can beat it.

i hate to say it, but i agree. this is the third time something like this has happened. and he clearly didn't learn anything yet.
sometimes people only learn after someones life is seriously destroyed. one way or another... i just hope that its not an innocent who gets hurt/ killed the next time this guy decides to go for a joy ride.
take this s**t to the track where it belongs.

My friend told me about this when we had lunch today. My friend's parents are friends with his parents, and yeah I agree with above posts about money playing its role in the justice system. He has / had some good lawyer and probably will get away with this. It's totally BS.
