I got the Passport SRX. Saved my life numerous times. ESPECIALLY on my cross-country trip. I love it.
Wow! Does it double as a heart defibrillator?

love these 2007 s2000 newbies coming in here making recommendations to the og/RTs of this place.

and then someone pipes in that their escort is super sweet.

u think if the passport was any better than the v1 that i wouldn't have it?

i got tagged once by laser in fife (wtf i was doing in fife don't ask me)

i got tagged another time by a plane that radioed the ground unit to pull my arse over

what i'm whining about is the fact that it hasn't saved me once in a situation where it is setup to do what it does - maybe i am actually lucky in this regard since it hasn't even had the oppty to work its magic.

anyways i just got it hardwired into my other car and it's beeping and booping again

hey ray, how do you like your v1?

i must've gotten ticketed 2 times and pulled over 3 with that thing turned on. didn't do sh!t for me and hasn't saved me once yet.
it doesn't matter what kind of radar detector you have if you are speeding and no one is infront of you to cover you. once cop pulls the trigger on radar gun it's already too late to slow down to speed limit.

never rely on your radar detector. you always have to look out for cops and v1 is for when you are not paying attention or in poor visibility situations. i also have v1 and never gotten a ticket. well not speeding tickets.

OK .. I want visiting rights .. that kid looks smart too.

And that POS detector worked just fine. It kept the group drive speed down so I could keep up.
