Thumbs up Decent winter tires

I love my new S2000, but this winter has been frosty! I don't want to take any chances with running off the road, so I'd like to pick up some decent winter tires. Hopefully in the <$500 range for four tires + some crappy rims. Nothing super fancy. What do all of you suggest? I just need something for the Nov-Mar time frame to get me through the mild PacNW winter.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Best option is to find used AP1 OEM rims. Several people in the local area have some for sale.
