Just installed the new alternator. Now that all the bolts are unfrozen and I know the process step by step, it was a quick job.

Measured 13V across the battery terinals with the car turned off. Started the engine and turned on headlights, high beams, and interior fan. Measured 15V across the battery terminals. Appears to finally be successful. Knock on wood.
