The ZR1's second gear gate should be relabelled: WARP DRIVE.

That's insanely fast...rumor is that the GT-R V-Spec ran a 7:25, just a rumor at this point though so Ive heard. The V-Spec is a 520hp version of the GT-R and is 200 lbs lighter.

Also impressive is the time of the new CTS-V, a big 4 door sedan on street tires. It ran 7:59 making it the fastest lap of the Ring by a sedan.

it was a rolling start though?? still impressive, but i'd never want a corvette. can't wait for the new NSX, if there is such a thing.

...... aren't they all "rolling start"? or do they have a 13 mile long drag strip there?

... and once you stop you have to back up and stop to start the next lap since you had to cross the line to end the previous lap
