Clutch/pedal/hydraulic problem?
So I get in the S2K, and find my clutch pedal goes almost to the floor with almost no resistance. The only time there's normal clutch pedal pressure is for the last two inches of travel.
Clutch itself has been operating fine up until the night before I felt the above. Car has about 52K miles.
Does this sound familiar? I've not experienced this in any other cars I've owned. Hydraulic issue? Linkage?
Thanks,
Peter

sounds like hydraulics
check the reservoir level; if it's level is low, then check to see if any fluid is seeping thru the firewall to the actuating rod boot above the clutch pedal. If you see fluid on the carpet then you got a bad master cylinder, if not, most likely you have a bad slave cylinder. If the level is OK at the reservoir, then most likely a bad master cylinder that's leaking back to it's own reservoir (that's why the fluid isn't low).
