Carbon Fiber Hood Paint
Hey Guys,
Haven't posted on this section for a while. I saw my car today and my carbon fiber hood is in pretty bad shape. The clear coat is entirely off and it has a pretty bad fade look to it. So I want to get it painted anyone know of any good paint shops in the area? (Tacoma, Lacey, Everett)

I had my carbon hood clear coated on my last car ('03 RXS Type-S) and it made a huge difference. I was fading pretty bad before I had it clear coated. Mine was done at Mark2 collision in Lynnwood but I'm not sure if they are there anymore. You should be able to get most reputable body shops to do it. It's basically just lightly wet sanded and sprayed. I think It cost me around $200. It was well worth it. Never faded again after that.
