car alarm installer references
Hi! Does anyone have any good referrals of car alarm installers in the Seattle area?
After some research, it sounds like the installer has a lot to do with the success of a good alarm. A good installer will place the siren in a hard to get place, use wires that look like the original system, and can install a system that won't fry out the circiutry.
If you had a good install can you let me know who did it? THanks!!!!

Off the top of my head, I'd say Innovative Audio in bellevue would be a good place to go, bit expensive though, check em out at http://innovativeaudio.com/main.html .

One thing I forgot to mention:
It may be worthwile to ask not only if the vendor has performed car alarm installs on a S2000, but which installer has performed the installations. You are probably safest with somebody whose bloodied his hands on one these cars a few times.

Thanks for the responses!
That's a good point Jer... I am debating wether to have the alarm integrated into the factory system or to have a separate alarm. If I go with the integrated system then I have to find an installer who knows what they are doing with the car circiutry. I'll check with Car Toys, Innovative and Tedster's connection.

I am going to track down a Viper...
You know, the one with 500hp heh heh.
Seriously, I spoke with an installer and they said Viper has been making quality products for quite awhile. Clifford is second place.
Most alarms come with an impact sensor, but I am looking for some other functions.

Directed Electronics owns both Viper and Clifford...
As well as Ratler, Python, Valet, Hornet, Avital, Sidewinder, Wasp, Precision Power, Orion, a/d/s...
You may want to look at their site, www.directed.com for more information, they have a Security System design section as well.
