Hello,

I'm starting my move to Bellingham in just a few more days and am wondering what you have to say about the place. I've been through Bellingham before, but it's been several years. From what I recall, it seemed to be a very nice area.

I'm 32 and single and am hoping the singles scene isn't completely dead like it is where I'm currrently living. From what I have read, the job market isn't too strong in the area so I would think that a well-paid professional with a solid career would have options...

Oh, and for the record, Washington is my home state, so please, no newcomer bashing...

Anyways, looking forward to living in Bellingham and meeting some S2Ker's in the area.

I'm not too far from you in Arlington. Remember, Bellingham is a college town. A very, VERY, liberal hippie college town so if that's your thing you'll do fine. As far as the older adult mixers, there really isn't too much. The bars are you usually packed with the college crowd. There's a decent Martini bar that the women like to frequent called Poppis. I'm married, but the wife doesn't mind if I head out. Post up when you get up there and we'll meet up and head out for an evening. I've got quite a few friends up there that can show us around for a good time.

Hello! good to see another s2ker here in town. there are currently about 5 in town, i know of them but he is selling his. local autocross and racing scene is a blast. we have a lot of everett guys come up because its only 30 bucks for all day of racing( usually 10 runs! ) very big college town, but it is a very friend area. plus we have chuckanut
