Exclamation anyone here know how to install gears?

Gears is getting pretty popular now, thinking about doing it sinc its only $500. Anyone know of a good shop or a s2k member? Eveyrone goes with 4.57s? how about 4.4 or 4.3 is it?

I think people like the 4.57 ratio because the stock s2000 is drag limited to about 150mph and with 4.57's the gearing limit is about 150mph so your not losing any top speed bragging rights. The con of 4.57's like the ones rick's sales is that they tend to suffer from gear whine more then other gears because they are stronger/harder.

Save it, buy something big. (Wheels and tires, Coilovers, Super charger, turbo, hardtop, house, etc)

Yes being a young single guy with MBA does pay off My s2k shoul;d be paid off by the end of the year with the tax refund. Wheels are coming soon since s02 rerar going bald and i still have several thousand left over after all the bills are paid and right now its all sitting in my checking hence I'd rather spend it since I have a nice plan already.

Gears..........so who should i take it to?
