Roscoe, the Duffey Lake loop should be ideally be done in the spring or the fall b/c during the summer there are a lot of campers crawling along the road. Some sections there aren't too many passing lanes. It was perfect timing when we went as the kiddies aren't out of school yet. For this year, September or October might be a possibility.
September huh??? dont count me out just yet...might be able to make that one (fingers crossed)

I am in Everett, so about 86 mi to the border. I also have a Nexus card.(Cause I am Canadian by marriage). So with no hold ups, about an hour.

If you do something this summer I have the weekend off, and it ends up in Langley, Fraser Valley, or Abbotsford, i would probably be in.

Rosco, you don't need a passport to go to Canada. For an extra $40 you can also get an enhanced driver license. It can be used instead of a passport.
