Default Angel by my side!

Ok I'm gonna have to share my story from a hour or so ago. Coming home from work on the freeway in the middle lane around noon. During this time it was pouring down rain. Semi in front of me so it was flying water behind so I was tryin to get around it but ended up hydroplaning like crazy. First the car jerked to the left real hard so my car was sideways than all of sudden jerks to the right real fast flying thru like 2 lanes and somehow going backwards facing the traffic and starting to exit the freeway. Cars are flying past by me and than I got control and whipped it back facing foward but stopped right on the side next to the railing and died! If my would have stopped in the lane I would have been F in the A! But no one hit me so surprisingly and everything was okay! I was only going about 65 mph too so I wasnt even speeding. Sat there for awhile freaked out til a cop came and let me out. I was 100% sure my car was gonna get hit but so lucky. This weather is terrible! Anyways live everyday as if its your last!

Sounds vaguely familiar, except for the "I didn't even hit anything" part.

I did the same thing in Oahu a "few" years back, except in a mustang and went across the grassy median and through 3 oncoming lanes and finally into a little dip. I had a few scratches on the front bumper and the passenger light "fell out" by itself. Needless to say I didn't end up going to prom with my date a week later.

Isn't the speed limit 60? Sometimes conditions make it possibe that even the speed limit is "speeding" according to the law. Glad you're ok regardless. Be careful out there.
