Default advice on this intake

Spoon Carbon Kevlar Duct... what u guys think? I know it's not as good as the mugen one. but mugen one is too expesive.

Waste of money. Not even sure the Mugen one is worth it. Spend money elsewhere.

I assume this is the spoon "snorkle" that ducts air from in front of the radiator into the airbox?

I tend to believe it's a good product, just overpriced. I mean, Spoon uses it on their race car in Japan. Unless it's just there to help sell product it must have some benefit. And winning races sells more product than useless crap hung on a race car.

I like my Spoon copy cf snorkle. Instantly fixed the notorious hot weather "bog" off the line.

Not likely to dyno well - but I do recall vapors2k had gained 2 seconds per lap after switching to the intake vs. a different design. Not sure if that proves anything - but I like it anyway.

Illogical or logical depending on how you look at it, but Spoon now uses the Mugen intake on their race car.

I think you are right, and should just spend the money on karting with us this weekend. We have a few slots available still.
