2013 schedule at the Ridge Motorsports Park
Many of our local GoFast Addicts are keen on the Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. I wanted to share a recent communication from the facility in case the update has not reached your inbox. While they are not releasing a schedule for 2013, the track has not shut down. Turn 2 events have not been cancelled, but it is advisable to contact the organization you are booking events thru to confirm your track time.
Hopefully, a speedy resolution to the dispute is possible and operations are not impacted. While there are several race tracks in this region, there is a great deal of contention for weekend event dates. The Ridge is relatively close and events have been inexpensively priced compared to Pacific Raceways.

Because of this dispute, the Ridge is being operated by a custodial receiver that was appointed by and reports directly to, the court of Mason County. It is unclear to us what the future holds for this promising facility.

As an instructor for Ridge Racing School I do want to add that Ridge Racing School is not a part of The Ridge Motorsports Park, it's owners or management. It is an independent School/Trackday/HPDE organization much like that of Turn2 and ProFormance but with the unique distinction of holding all their events (so far) at The Ridge. That message you quoted is from "RRR" and not "TRMS", I just wanted point out the distinction. This news from RRR saddens me as I hoping to do a lot more instructing for them this year. 
While it is unclear what the future holds for the track but events are still being Scheduled there.
SCCA, NASA, ICSCC/IRDC have all booked races. Turn2 and now Proformance (Don Kitch) have also purchased dates for events in 2013.

This does not mean that Turn2 will not be running! It does not mean that The Ridge Motorsports Park will not be running. Our dates are set and everyone involved has interest in seeing the track continue running and being profitable. The disagreements between the owners are their disagreements and at this time have no bearing on the track days laid before us. I would recommend a quick read on the Ridge Motorsports Park main web site at www.ridgemotorsportspark.com as there is a good explination on this topic.

We have recently been bombarded by emails wondering about The Ridge Motorsports Park, and its future therein. To the best of our knowledge, this confusion blooms from perhaps an imprecisely written email blast by one of our customers, Ridge Racing School. We would like to clear up any confusion.
A note of gratitude to all first. We have been blessed to visualize, and then actualize, a dream. From mind, to paper, to reality. No easy process as all those that have built companies, as we have our entire adult lives, can attest. It is the journey that is important, not the destination.
The Ridge Racing School is a customer of the Ridge Motorsports Park, the same as Turn 2, 2 Fast, Hooked on Driving, Audi and Porsche club, WMMRA, SCCA etc. etc., you get the picture.
The Ridge Racing School recently sent an email blast and posted on their website that they will not be hosting events at The Ridge in 2013. This is in fact true, and we were noticed of that several months ago. The remainder of their email blast we consider, as a courtesy to you, our valued customers, to be private information that is of no use to end users, and ultimately causes confusion. As most of you know that have spoken with us, we will not discuss any differences amongst the owners of The Ridge. It is just not polite.
Having said that, we want you to be assured that properly shepherded, The Ridge Motorsports Park will outlast all of our lifetimes. For those of you that study finance, our “paper” (commonly known as bank reserves) would be rated A++. We are more than solvent, and shall not cease operations any time soon. And we will be there to greet you at the gate with a smile, and shake your hand during the day, thanking you for your business.
“Thank You" simple phrase, no ambiguity, you have made our dream come true.
I would be more than happy to answer any direct questions I am able, email me direct at rod@ridgemotorsportspark.com. Please understand though, civility is the rule, when we speak I cannot, and will not, address rumors. Motorsports enthusiasts have always drawn us, for they are well spoken, polite, and steadfast.
