I've done the dinner train thing. Wouldn't do it again just to do it, but it might be fun in a group.
Interesting note: my sister discovered that she did not feel like she could eat in a seat that faced the back of the train while it was moving. She needed to switch to a seat that faced the front of the train.

Funny I kinda agree with your Sis I was facing forward on the way there and reverse on the return it is kinda funky going backwardz The staff was very fun and efficient
